The Family & Community Wellness Coordinator is responsible for providing culturally responsive and trauma informed support to vulnerable individuals, children, youth, and families, with a focus on strengthening family and community connections, promoting wellness, and building capacity for long-term stability and well-being. This includes individual and family support, home visits, needs assessments, planning, life skills, case management, youth programming, advocating for and implementing support strategies, coordinating with community services, and facilitating family-centered workshops and gatherings. The position fosters culturally safe, inclusive, and collaborative environments aligned with the values and traditions of Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi’it First Nation.
