The Housing and Infrastructure Department strives to fulfill the housing and infrastructure needs of the Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi’it First Nation Community and Members. We endeavour to build and provide access to safe, affordable and energy efficient housing that meets Community needs and meets or exceeds applicable building standards. It is important to us that we have a consistent maintenance program in place to ensure the health and safety of all ʔakanuxunik’ people are met. By operating in a fair and transparent manner, whenever possible we will provide economic opportunities and benefits for our Community.
